Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and tabs. Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and communicating needs to management. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or nightclubs. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits. Proven experience in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments with strong bartending skills. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Ability to develop beverage recipes and contribute creatively to menu offerings. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food service industry. Experience in bar management or supervising bar staff is a plus but not required.
