Job Description

Bartender (Beer & Wine) - Hotel Bar (Indoor/Outdoor) We're hiring a friendly, outgoing Bartender for our 21-room hotel bar, serving guests in a relaxed, beachy-yet-modern setting. In good weather, service takes place on our outdoor deck; during inclement weather, the bar operates indoors. Join a small, guest-focused team where hospitality and personality matter. Our lounge offers a slower-paced, comfortable atmosphere —a place where guests can unwind, enjoy a thoughtfully prepared cocktail, and settle in after a day exploring the coast. This is a great opportunity for a bartender who enjoys hospitality and conversation just as much as crafting a great drink.
Schedule:
Open Thursday to Sunday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Full-time, part-time, seasonal, and year-round positions available
Compensation & Perks:
$15.50/hour + cash & credit card tips Free parking Employee discounts on hotel stays
What You'll Do:
Serve beer and wine with attentive, personable service Create a welcoming, memorable experience for guests Set up and break down indoor and outdoor bar areas, including stocking, inventory, trash and recycling Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Assist with light food prep as our food service expands (simple items, plating, garnishes) Follow all food safety and responsible service guidelines Support daily opening and closing duties Help hotel with where to go, answer questions, give recommendations
What We're Looking For:
Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather Prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred (beer & wine knowledge a plus) ServSafe Food Handler certification required (or willingness to obtain) Tips certification required (or willingness to obtain) Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a steady service environment Availability for weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Lift/carry up to 50 lbs Comfortable moving between indoor and outdoor service areas Come be part of a welcoming hotel environment with a laid-back coastal vibe and a modern touch.
