Barback, Busser, and Food Runner

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. •This is a "tip credit" position. Base hourly pay is $8 per hour plus tips Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are properly plated before serving. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns. Operate the POS system for order tracking and assist with cashiering duties as needed. Support catering events and banquets, ensuring all food service standards are met. Uphold food handling safety standards at all times to ensure guest health and satisfaction. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Experience in cleaning, bussing, and general kitchen duties is essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and catering services is beneficial. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
