Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring product quality, and minimizing waste. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender with a strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and craft beer. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Demonstrated ability in food handling, food safety practices, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks effectively. Previous restaurant or fine dining experience preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service. Knowledge of beverage recipe development and an interest in brewing or spirits industry trends is advantageous.
