Shifts Available Brunch (6:30am to 2:30pm availability) Dinner (3:30pm to 9:30pm availability) Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities. Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and operate cashiering systems with basic math proficiency. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and supporting kitchen staff when needed. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Support bar operations, contributing to a lively atmosphere while maintaining professionalism. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in restaurant dining settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest interactions professionally. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively. Culinary experience or food preparation knowledge that enhances your ability to assist guests confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and sales transactions. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Experience with serving in an upscale restaurant or lively bar environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills paired with hospitality expertise to foster guest relations and team collaboration. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
