Job Description

This role is for Winter 2026/2027.
Basic Function and Overview:
Bartenders work directly with customers mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make drinks, processing payments, managing inventory, and cleaning bar supplies.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to: Daily set-up, tear-down, and overall cleanliness and sanitization of bar and/or restaurant. Complete opening and closing shift duties, cash-outs, managing cash drawer, and completing side work assigned by the manager on duty or front-of-house supervisor. Communicate with the manager and other wait staff on the floor. Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines and laws on proper liquor service, proper pours, and proper service. Friendly rapport with customers and ability to promote the mountain. Additional duties and tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Serve and make alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests. Work well with others to get tasks done. Exhibit a positive attitude to promote a pleasant work environment. Obtain knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor. Manage the cash drawer and daily cashouts.
Required Education and Experience:
High school degree or equivalent. Must be 18 years or older. Previous bartending experience preferred. Previous front-of-house experience is required.
Physical Demands:
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
