About the Role - Bartender (Cedar Bistro) As a Bartender at Cedar Bistro, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. This role includes engaging with guests, offering recommendations, and delivering personalized service to enhance the overall dining experience. You will also maintain a clean and organized bar area, support inventory management, and ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations. Your work will directly contribute to a vibrant social environment that encourages repeat visits and positive guest experiences. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role Preferred Qualifications Bartending or mixology certification Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences Engage with guests by taking orders, making recommendations, and responding to questions or concerns Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, surfaces, and waste disposal Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed Assist with ordering bar supplies and managing inventory Follow all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations Skills & Competencies This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional guest service. Attention to detail is essential to ensure consistent drink quality and presentation. Strong organizational skills are needed to maintain an efficient and clean bar environment. Knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and pairing enhances the ability to make thoughtful recommendations.
