The Outdoor Bar Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and compliant service to guests purchasing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from an outdoor bar or service station. This role includes preparing beverages, processing transactions, verifying identification, maintaining a clean and organized service area, and ensuring compliance with all local and state alcohol service regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards. Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws. Package beverages appropriately for to-go consumption in accordance with local regulations. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked outdoor bar area. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items. Ensure all equipment, supplies, and service areas are sanitized and maintained according to health and safety standards. Handle guest questions, concerns, and complaints professionally. Follow responsible alcohol service practices and refuse service when necessary. Assist with opening, closing, and daily setup/breakdown procedures. Support team members and contribute to a positive guest experience. Qualifications Must meet minimum legal age requirements for alcohol service. Previous experience in bartending, beverage service, hospitality, or customer service preferred. Alcohol service certification (such as TIPS or equivalent) preferred or required based on local regulations. Basic math and cash-handling skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain professional when handling difficult situations.
