Job Description

Overview As a Lift Operator at The Highlands at Harbor Springs, you will play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for our guests. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of aerial and surface lifts, assisting guests with loading and unloading, monitoring lift equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe lift station. You will provide friendly and professional service to guests while promoting The Highlands' products, services, and overall guest experience.

Long-Term Thinking Excellence in Execution Attitude is Everything Develop Create People Serve our team members first so they can, in turn, serve our guests and community Responsibilities Greet and assist guests in lift lines and at loading and unloading areas Operate aerial and surface lifts safely and efficiently in accordance with established safety standards and procedures Safely assist guests with loading and unloading from chairlifts and surface lifts Monitor lift operations and promptly report equipment concerns or operational issues to the appropriate supervisor Assist with managing guest flow and maintaining an orderly lift line Maintain a safe and accessible work area by shoveling snow, clearing ramps, and keeping lift stations free of obstructions Maintain appropriate snow levels throughout the lift station area Provide clear, courteous, and friendly communication to guests and co-workers Assist with lift opening and closing procedures Set up, maintain, and remove signs, fencing, and lift-line mazes as needed Inspect, record, and report the condition of lift machinery and equipment as directed Understand and promote The Highlands' products, services, and guest offerings Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required No prior experience required; training will be provided Valid driver's license required Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in winter weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, shovel snow, and perform physical work throughout the shift Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and varied shifts
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED required No prior experience required; training will be provided Valid driver s license required Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in winter weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, shovel snow, and perform physical work throughout the shift Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Availability to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and varied shifts
