JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS

We are currently looking for a part time Banquet Bartender / Event Bartender to join our team at our Boatwerks location. Our Banquet Bartender is responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to event guests. Characteristics of this position include being a team player, having excellent attention to detail, having the ability to maintain a positive attitude, and being conversational and friendly with guests, all while maintaining the highest level of professionalism to achieve the high standards of service and quality that RedWater is known for.

DUTIES:

Sets up bar and stocks alcohol, supplies, and garnishes based on the banquet event order. Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to event guests based on individual client requirements and in accordance with RedWater Events regulations. Always provides high quality customer service and follows procedures when dealing with client requests. Monitors event guests' alcohol consumption. Capable of dealing with problematic guests and seeks the support of management when necessary. Maintains tally of alcohol consumption for specified functions as directed. Processes payment for cash bar events. Verifies identification and age requirements of customers. Breaks down bar and stores supplies at end of functions. Implements and maintains RedWater and MLCC policies and procedures. Works closely with the dishwasher to assure glassware is frequently stocked. Supports banquet servers when bar service slows.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous bartending experience preferred. Night, weekend, and holiday availability. Must be 18 years old. May at times have to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk carrying items. Preferred to be ServeSafe certified.
