Summary:
Bartenders are responsible for creating an extraordinary experience by providing positive and responsive service to all guests.
Experience and Education:
  • 2 or more years Bartending experience
  • Have or willing to obtain TAM certification
  • Pass knife skills class as part of training
Responsibilities and Skills:
  • Outgoing personality and the ability to hold conversation with guests
  • Perform opening and closing duties before and after every shift
  • Solid knowledge of craft and standard cocktails with an aptitude to learn new cocktails frequently
  • Familiarity with craft beer
  • Understanding of wine
  • Keep bar area clean, sanitized, and organized
  • Promptly and respectfully respond to any customer requests
  • Able to handle money and quickly and accurately perform basic math functions
  • Able to accurately and quickly use POS system
  • Promptly greet and take guest orders
  • Upsell and suggestive sell food and beverage to increase ticket averages and boost guest experiences
  • Check identification of guests in regard to alcohol purchases
  • Clear and clean glasses
  • Perform side work as required
  • Clean and stock restrooms
  • Safely maneuver and change out kegs when needed
  • Able to be a team player and to maintain pleasant and respectful working relationships with fellow employees
Physical Demands:
  • Able to stand for 8 hours
  • Able to work in a loud and fast paced environment
  • Ability to go up and down stairs carrying 30lbs
  • Able to lift 50lbs Reports to: Shift Supervisor, AGM, GM Works Closely with: All FOH and HOH staff
