Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy shifts. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Must learn how to cook basic food. learn about cigars and how to sell cigars. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Operate POS systems (Toast) for order entry and payment processing. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Stay informed about beverage trends, new products, and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests. Experience Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully. Basic math skills for cash handling and sales tracking. Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus. Knowledge of brewing techniques and the food industry is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
