Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages Assist with food handling, preparation, and sanitation to uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently, including processing payments and giving correct change Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while enhancing guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and manage guest flow effectively. Must be available evenings and weekends. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs Strong knowledge of POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest relations Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances your ability to answer guest questions confidently Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items through suggestive selling techniques to increase sales opportunities Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and transaction processing Experience with serving in diverse settings such as family dining establishments, a Tavern, Bar and/or an Outdoor Patio is highly desirable.
