Overview Looking to add a bartender to our team. We are a high volume, upscale restaurant with significant opportunities for a dedicated and driven restaurant professional. You will have the opportunity to work with over 3,000 unique wine and spirits. AM and weekend availability necessary. Ideal candidate we are looking for is potentially looking to bartend AND serve if full time hours are desired. 2+ Years of bartending experience in upscale/fine dining atmosphere required. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. Engage with customers to provide personalized service, taking orders and making recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through Focus systems. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders during events or busy shifts. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain bar operations. Participate in ongoing training related to mixology techniques, customer service skills, and food handling practices. Participate in ongoing training related to liquor/spirits knowledge, wine knowledge, and food knowledge. Skills Proficient in Focus POS systems for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Excellent sales abilities to promote menu items and increase overall revenue. Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create memorable guest experiences. Experience in the food industry, including catering or banquet services, is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
