Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Runner to join our fast-casual restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and supporting the flow of food and beverage orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, mixology, and POS systems, with the flexibility to act as a runner during certain shifts. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and hospitality are valued. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take customer orders at the counter or directly at the bar, providing friendly and attentive service. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems. Support the kitchen and front-of-house staff by delivering food and beverages promptly to ensure smooth service flow. Act as a runner during designated shifts, assisting with food delivery within the restaurant to maintain efficient operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials when applicable. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments. Knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage preparation. Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Flexibility to work as a runner during certain shifts as needed. Team-oriented attitude with a professional appearance and demeanor. When working as a bartender tips are individual (assuming you're the only bartender). When running, tips are pooled equally among all runners and cooks, equaling approximately $3-5/hr on top of the base $15 wage. Base bartender wage is $10/hr.
