Job Description

Bartender Job Summary We are looking for an experienced bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant or bar environment. You will be responsible for preparing drinks, serving guests, maintaining the bar, and working closely with the rest of the team. Duties Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Follow established recipes and presentation standards. Provide friendly and efficient service to guests. Enter orders and process payments using the Toast POS system. Training will be provided if needed. Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service. Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Help develop seasonal cocktails and drink specials. Handle cash and complete closing procedures at the end of each shift. Work with servers, kitchen staff, and management during regular service and special events. Monitor alcohol consumption and serve guests responsibly. Requirements At least 2 years of recent bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar. High-volume experience is preferred. Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to stay organized and multitask during busy shifts. Comfortable handling cash and completing basic calculations. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Able to work well with coworkers and management. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
