Job Description

The Events Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and applicable laws. This position maintains a clean, organized, and well-stocked mobile bar while creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences. Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies. Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service. Set-up and Breakdown of Mobile Bar for on-site and off-site catering events Process credit card, and other payment transactions accurately with Handheld POS system. Quick troubleshooting ability. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area throughout each shift. Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies as needed. Monitor guest consumption and refuse service when appropriate in accordance with responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory, cleaning, and POS reconciliation. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure excellent guest experiences. Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum age as required by state law to serve alcoholic beverages. Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred. Knowledge of standard drink recipes, beer, wine, and spirits. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and POS handling skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands. Responsible alcohol service certification preferred or required, depending on state and local regulations. This position works in an on-site and off-site mobile bar setting and requires frequent interaction with guests and team members. Professional appearance, punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to company policies are essential for success in this role. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance. Reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions. Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to noise, heat, and wet surfaces.
