This energetic role combines ice cream creations and beverage service with modern hospitality standards, creating memorable moments for every guest. As a Soda Jerk, you'll craft delicious sundaes, milkshakes, floats, and specialty beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver a fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. Duties Craft beverage recipes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every order. Operate cash registers accurately, process cash transactions, and handle credit card payments with efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the soda fountain station, adhering to food safety and food handling standards. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, offering menu recommendations and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple customers swiftly while maintaining high standards of service. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Experience Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling practices is essential. Strong customer service skills coupled with excellent math abilities for retail math and cash handling are required. Experience working in fine dining or hospitality settings enhances your ability to deliver top-tier service.
