Bartender Job Overview:

LGC Hospitality Staffing is hiring experienced Servers and Bartenders to support hotels, catering companies, and event venues. This is a temporary, on-call position ideal for individuals who are dependable, professional, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for delivering high-level food and beverage service while representing LGC at client locations. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:

Provide food and beverage service for events, banquets, and restaurant-style settings

Bartenders:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced environment

Servers:

Deliver plated meals, buffet service, and passed appetizers professionally Maintain clean and organized service areas throughout shifts Verify guest identification when serving alcohol (bartenders) Follow all alcohol service and safety guidelines Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking as needed Follow direction from supervisors, captains, and client managers Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work

Requirements:

Previous serving and/or bartending experience required Bartenders must have relevant alcohol certification (TIPS or state-approved, if required) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays or bar supplies Ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments Reliable transportation to various job sites Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, and holidays required) Professional appearance and dependable attendance
