Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Operate POS systems such as XN POS to process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools in compliance with food safety standards. Engage with guests to promote menu items, upsell specials, and enhance their overall experience through friendly and attentive service. Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously using excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy shifts. Assist in beverage recipe development and suggest pairing options to elevate guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly. Expertise in mixology techniques, spirits knowledge, wine varieties, craft beer offerings, and beverage recipe creation. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to connect with diverse guests. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in cash handling and retail math. Experience with food safety practices, food handling procedures, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while delivering quality service.
