Nantucket Grill is looking for an experienced, energetic, and dependable Beverage Manager to take ownership of our bar and beverage program. We are looking for someone who loves hospitality, takes pride in their work, and is excited about having the opportunity to help shape and grow a beverage program not simply maintain one. This is a full-time leadership position working five days per week . Weekend availability is required, including double shifts with an approximate schedule of 1:00 PM-Close on Saturdays and Sundays . What You'll Do As our Beverage Manager, you will be hands-on behind the bar while also helping manage the operational and creative side of our beverage program.

Responsibilities will include:

Lead by example behind the bar and provide excellent guest service Assist with weekly liquor, beer, and wine inventory Help manage beverage ordering and maintain appropriate stock levels Monitor product usage, waste, and organization Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Help develop seasonal cocktails, drink specials, and new cocktail menus Create and standardize cocktail recipes, measurements, garnishes, and presentation Help ensure consistency between bartenders and shifts Train and support bartenders on recipes, service standards, and proper procedures Assist management with beverage costs, pricing, and opportunities to improve profitability Help identify new products, trends, and ideas that could enhance our beverage program Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with North Carolina ABC requirements Work closely with the General Manager and restaurant leadership to continuously improve the guest experience Who We're Looking For We want someone who is reliable, punctual, organized, creative, and genuinely excited about hospitality. This position requires someone we can depend on to take ownership of their area and follow through.

The ideal candidate:

Has previous bartending experience; bar leadership or management experience is strongly preferred Has strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine Is comfortable with inventory and ordering Is creative and enjoys developing new drinks and recipes Understands the importance of consistency, portion control, and beverage costs Communicates professionally with both guests and team members Is comfortable training and providing direction to other bartenders Is dependable and consistently arrives on time and prepared for scheduled shifts Thrives in a busy, full-service restaurant environment Is available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Schedule Full-Time | 5 Days Per Week Weekend availability is required. Saturday and Sunday shifts will generally be 1:00 PM-Close . This is an active management position, so the Beverage Manager should expect to spend time both behind the bar and working on the operational side of the beverage program , including inventory, ordering, training, menu development, and organization.
