Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drink selections, wine pairings, and menu items to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar area, glassware, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with food service duties including bussing tables, serving dishes, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure a positive experience. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant management tools. Requirements Proven experience in beverage service or bartending within a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and drink orders efficiently during peak hours. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing tabs effectively. Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards required; experience in food handling is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
