This role requires strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, an understanding of craft cocktails, and the ability to execute consistent, high-quality service in a country club environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines. Demonstrate knowledge of beer styles, wine basics, and liquor categories to confidently answer member questions and make recommendations. Execute classic and craft cocktails accurately, consistently, and efficiently. Maintain a basic working knowledge of wine, including varietals, regions, and appropriate glassware. Provide attentive, courteous, and personalized service while building rapport with members and guests. Stock, prep, and organize the bar prior to each shift, ensuring all supplies, garnishes, and glassware are ready for service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout service and during closing procedures. Accurately process orders, tabs, and payments following club policies. Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and comply with local and state regulations. Collaborate with management and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Qualifications and Skills Previous bartending experience preferred, ideally in a country club, hotel, or upscale dining environment. Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, with an understanding of craft cocktails and classic drink preparation. Basic understanding of wine and wine service. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced service environment. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to standard bar delivery weights. Schedule and Expectations Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club operations.
