Seasonal Kiosk/Barback Utility - Sonny's and Sonny's Downtown Downtown Sonny's is hiring dependable, energetic Kiosk/Barback Utility team members for the upcoming football season. With our massive outdoor screen, full-service bar, and downtown location, Sonny's is preparing for busy college football and NFL game days. This role is essential to keeping the entire operation stocked, clean, organized, and moving efficiently during high-volume events. This is a seasonal position through the fall , but it is also a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with Sonny's and Noddle Hospitality. Strong seasonal employees will be considered first for future events, opportunities within our other concepts, and positions when Sonny's returns for the next season. What You'll Do Operate a guest-facing kiosk by taking orders and processing payments accurately through the Toast POS system. Provide fast, friendly service while answering basic questions and directing guests when needed. Restock beer, liquor, mixers, ice, cups, garnishes, and other bar supplies throughout service. Support bartenders and servers by anticipating their needs during busy game days and events. Change trash, break down boxes, clean spills, and keep guest and employee areas organized. Maintain clean and stocked service stations, coolers, storage areas, and bar wells. Assist with opening, closing, setup, breakdown, and general event responsibilities. Help receive, move, and organize product and supplies. Follow responsible alcohol-service practices, food-safety standards, and company procedures. Work closely with bartenders, servers, leads, security, and management to keep service running smoothly. Perform other utility responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Compensation and Tip-Out This is a paid hourly position that also receives a tip-out from the bartending team . Tip-out is distributed based on the shift, hours worked, and the number of support team members working. Busy football games and major events can provide strong earning opportunities in addition to the hourly wage. What We're Looking For Previous barback, kiosk, cashier, restaurant, event, warehouse, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and willingness to stay active throughout the entire shift. Ability to move quickly, follow direction, and recognize what needs to be done without constant supervision. Friendly and professional when interacting with guests. Comfortable handling cash, credit card transactions, and basic POS responsibilities. Ability to lift, carry, push, and move cases, kegs, ice, trash, and other supplies. Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions. Dependable attendance and availability during weekends, football games, and major downtown events. Ability to remain organized and professional during high-volume service periods.
