Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Adhere to all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Upsell food and beverage items to increase revenue
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints promptly

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role
• Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
• Knowledge of retail math for inventory management purposes
• Experience in the food industry or hospitality industry is preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
