Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Barback, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional experience for our guests. As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you'll ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and organized, enabling smooth and efficient beverage service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced venue while contributing to a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will be key in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages quickly and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces, utensils, glassware, and bar equipment in accordance with food service safety standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas to ensure a tidy environment Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, bottles, and crates safely and with proper technique Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic garnishing or assembling simple menu items Ensure compliance with food service bar safety regulations and venue beverage service policies Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy periods Requirements Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments preferred; experience in bars or restaurants is highly valued Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, bar cleaning protocols, and food industry safety standards Experience with POS systems such as TOAST is advantageous for cash handling and order processing Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers professionally Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of catering services or venue beverage operations is a plus Demonstrated commitment to food safety compliance and customer service excellence Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your contributions directly enhance the guest experience!
