Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members at Carpe Vita! Carpe Vita is a juice bar and wellness market located in the heart of Point Pleasant Beach. We offer cold pressed juice, specialty smoothies, soft serve acai bowls, and a retail section for gifts. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring a smooth operation in our kitchen and retail environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for food and customer service. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining cleanliness. Utilize Clover POS system for processing transactions accurately. Handle cash transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Support shop duties by restocking merchandise and maintaining a tidy dining area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Skills Strong upselling skills to promote menu items effectively. Ability to help customers with inquiries and provide excellent service. Experience in food preparation; training will be provided. Familiarity with kitchen operations and safety protocols. Proficiency in using Clover POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Previous experience in sales or customer service is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
