Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Manage cash handling procedures accurately while processing payments swiftly and securely Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; handle food with care to ensure quality and hygiene Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setup of tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning work areas Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine, and drink pairings; ability to upsell effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive energy Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while processing sales efficiently Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change; understanding of sales transaction processing required Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours Physical ability to stand for extended periods; capable of lifting trays or supplies as needed Hospitality or restaurant experience preferred; culinary knowledge or kitchen experience is beneficial Join us to be part of an energetic team committed to creating memorable dining experiences.
