At Edgewood Country Club, our Member Clubhouse features a fine dining steakhouse, a charming café, a casual dining venue, and a lively bar. We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team and provide an exceptional bar experience for our members and guests. As a Bartender at Edgewood Country Club, you will be responsible for: Taking and fulfilling drink orders from members and guests in both the bar and dining areas. Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, mixed drinks, and seasonal or specialty drinks. Ensuring the bar is fully stocked with garnishes and supplies before opening. Maintaining an engaging and energetic atmosphere at the bar by interacting with members, sharing drink knowledge, and creating an exciting experience. Following opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, restocking, sweeping/mopping, cleaning counters, and sanitizing equipment (e.g., soda guns, sanitation stations). Verifying members' and guests' IDs to ensure they are of legal drinking age. Charging drinks to the appropriate member accounts or accepting occasional credit card payments when necessary. Handling delicate situations involving intoxication or disruptive behavior with professionalism and tact while ensuring club standards are maintained. Coordinating with management on member or guest complaints and incidents, including overconsumption of alcohol. Assisting management with counting inventory and informing them of low supplies to ensure timely restocking. Keeping track of chit records during your shift and submitting them to management at the end of your shift. Performing other related tasks as assigned. Might be a good fit? You should apply if you are: Of legal drinking age and have completed bartending or mixology training (preferred). Experienced (at least 3 years) in food service, with a focus on fine dining. Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and customer service skills. Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and cash registers. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to lift at least 15 pounds and stand for long periods. Able to work in hot, humid, or noisy environments.
