Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Barback and become an essential part of delivering an exceptional guest experience! In this energetic role, you will support bartenders and the bar team by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and running smoothly. This position is paid hourly plus tip out. Must be 21 or over! Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, garnishes, beverages, and bar tools to keep service flowing seamlessly Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning surfaces, washing glassware, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes promptly to uphold a tidy and inviting environment Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving stock safely within the venue Support food preparation activities when needed, including basic food handling and setup for events or service periods Ensure adherence to all food service bar safety regulations and venue beverage service policies Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or bar environments is highly desirable, including bartending or bar experience Strong knowledge of venue beverage service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS or Micros POS), and cash handling procedures Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with food safety standards, cleaning protocols, and health regulations in a hospitality setting Experience working in nightclubs, banquet halls, catering events, or hotel food service is a plus
Pay:
