Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, utilizing your mixology skills and beverage recipe knowledge. Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring prompt and friendly service that exceeds expectations. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience through excellent customer service. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies as needed, and assist with bar management tasks to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Handle cash handling procedures responsibly while maintaining a positive attitude in a lively nightlife or restaurant setting. Qualifications Proven experience in bartending, serving, or food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with beverage recipe development and mixology techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking between serving drinks, taking orders, and processing transactions. Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, cocktail creation, and beverage safety standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales upselling, and accurate processing of payments. Experience with food safety practices and maintaining cleanliness standards in food industry settings. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required by nightlife or restaurant operations.
