Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by regularly cleaning glassware, utensils, and surfaces to uphold health and safety standards. Restock bar supplies such as bottles, garnishes, napkins, and utensils to ensure bartenders have everything needed for service. Assist with food preparation tasks including garnishing drinks and preparing simple snacks or appetizers when required. Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and managing waste to keep the bar area tidy. Handle basic cashiering duties using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately. Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed during all activities within the food service environment. Collaborate with team members in catering or banquet events to support setup, service, and cleanup efforts. Communicate effectively with staff and guests to provide excellent customer service and address any needs promptly. Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, bars, or hotels is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in cash handling and transactions. Experience working in nightclubs, banquet events, catering services, or hospitality environments is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning protocols, food preparation techniques, and food handling safety standards is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate smoothly with team members and ensure guest satisfaction. Prior barista experience or restaurant experience demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced customer service roles. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude contributes to a lively team environment.
