QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Full- or part-time with availability for mid-shift to late night. Weekend availability required. 1-year experience in similar environment preferred. Knowledge of common drink recipes and bartending techniques. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbal communication skills. Friendly, outgoing personality. Organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverage in compliance with established policies and procedures, brand standards and steps of service. Follow all responsible alcohol service procedures. Acquire full knowledge of the dining menu to explain major ingredients, preparation methods, and flavor profiles. Approach guest encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Take an active role in understanding and anticipating guest needs to provide authentic and personalized service. Ensure a timely response to guest requests and address concerns beyond satisfaction. Promptly address incidents involving possible excessive alcohol consumption or an impaired condition. Follow proper guest check and payment policies and procedures. Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations. Maintain cleanliness of bar and surrounding area. Return equipment and supplies to proper areas at end of shift. Perform assigned side-work. Be on time and at work when scheduled, and in proper uniform. Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates. Report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction and unusual matters of significance to manager / supervisor so that corrective measures may be taken.
