Bartender - The Wag (Columbus, OH) The Wag is Columbus' newest dog park bar, bringing people, pups, and pints together in one exciting community space. We're looking for energetic, friendly, and reliable bartenders to join our team in Grandview. If you love serving up great drinks, creating memorable guest experiences, and don't mind sharing the space with four-legged friends, this is the job for you! We will be looking to hold interviews ASAP Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons Accurately ring in and process all drink orders using POS software Interact with guests in a friendly and engaging manner, providing excellent service Assess guest preferences to make drink recommendations Check guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements Restock and replenish bar and server inventory as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar environment Monitor and correct dog behavior when appropriate to ensure a safe, fun atmosphere Arrive on time and ready to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment Comply with all food and beverage regulations What We're Looking For Outgoing, personable, and guest-focused attitude Strong multitasking and communication skills Reliability and punctuality are a must Previous bartending or service industry experience preferred, but not required Comfortable working around dogs in an off-leash environment Minimum age of 21 years old Compensation Minimum Bartender pay is $20 per hour (tips + $6.00 base/hr). Average hourly is $20-25.
