We are hiring Event Servers / Bartenders to join our catering team for events throughout the Columbus area. Our team regularly works at venues including The Ohio Statehouse, Columbus Museum of Art, Franklin Park Conservatory , and many others. Milo's also operates four of our own event venues in downtown Columbus , including three in the historic Smith Brothers Hardware Building on 4th Street and another in the Franklinton area on West Town Street . We host a variety of events including corporate meetings, weddings, and private events , with many weekday morning and daytime shifts available , as well as evening and weekend events. Once onboarded, you will be added to our online scheduling platform , where you can pick up as few or as many shifts as you'd like. During peak season, we ask team members to be available for at least two Saturdays per month. This role includes both guest service and event setup , making it ideal for individuals who enjoy being part of the full event production process. Pay $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Schedule Part-time / On-call Flexible scheduling through our online shift portal Shifts typically 6-10 hours Morning, daytime, evening, and weekend shifts available Responsibilities Assist with event setup and breakdown including tables, chairs, and equipment Set formal place settings and prepare buffets or food stations Serve guests (tableside or buffet service) Clear tables and assist guests during events Provide excellent customer service Help clean and reset event spaces after events Each event is led by an Event Coordinator , who serves as the on-site manager during the shift. Servers report directly to the Event Coordinator and follow their direction throughout setup, service, and breakdown. Requirements 1+ year of restaurant or food service experience preferred Ability to lift 50-75 lbs Ability to stay on your feet for 6-10 hour shifts Reliable transportation Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexible availability including evenings and weekends Professional Appearance & Uniform Because we serve weddings and high-end corporate events , a polished and professional appearance is required.
