Wine Bar Server/Bartender Home Sweet Home Cafe Job Summary We are a family owned restaurant/wine bar and are looking for someone to fit our team and culture! Must be upbeat, hard working, positive attitude, and a willing to want to learn and grow! Must have some availability to work 4-10pm Tuesday-Friday and 12-10pm Saturday. We will be closed Sunday and Monday. Must have some experience making cocktails and some wine knowledge. If this is something you would be interested in apply! Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing expert wine recommendations based on preferences Serve wine, beverages, and light food items in accordance with established standards Manage cash handling and processing transactions efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements Assist in setting up for special events such as private tastings, banquets, or nightclub functions Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours Stay informed about wine selections, industry trends, and new offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or server in fine dining, wine bars, nightclubs, or banquet settings Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in hospitality or food service industry preferred Previous experience in catering or banquet environments is a plus Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail This position provides an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, fine wines, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Pay:

$13.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
