- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies regarding the sale and service of alcohol
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Handle difficult situations with customers professionally and resolve any issues that may arise
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of retail math, including cash handling and basic math skills
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry preferred
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations
