Server/Bar Tender The Winerie at Sandusky The Winerie at Sandusky is looking for friendly, outgoing Wine Tenders to join our hospitality team. This role is perfect for someone who loves people, enjoys wine (or wants to learn), and thrives in a warm, fast-paced environment. Our Wine Tenders are the heart of the guest experience—pouring wine, sharing stories behind our bottles, and making every visit feel relaxed, welcoming, and memorable. Whether you're looking for a few shifts a week, evenings and weekends, or seasonal flexibility, this position offers a great fit for those seeking part-time work in a fun, community-driven setting. What You'll Do Welcome guests and guide them through our wine list with an easygoing, approachable style Pour wine flights, tastings, and by-the-glass offerings while sharing basic wine knowledge and recommendations Help guests choose wines they'll love—no pretension, just great conversation and thoughtful suggestions Process orders and payments using our POS system accurately and efficiently Keep the tasting room, bar, and wine stations clean, organized, and guest-ready Work closely with kitchen and event staff during busy service, private events, and tastings Assist with food service as needed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience Promote featured wines, special events, and bottles to go in a natural, guest-focused way What We're Looking For A positive, dependable team player with a great attitude and strong people skills Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or customer service is helpful but not required Interest in wine, food, and learning more about both (we're happy to teach!)
