Job Description

Role and Responsibilities:
Work with Banquet Team to facilitate Group's needs as listed on the banquet event order (BEO). Assist in setting up and cleaning up of event space as listed on the BEO. Deliver food and beverages orders as listed on the BEO, in accordance with times listed. Pre-Clearing dishes also known as pre-bussing. Maintain assigned and specific side work to ensure event space cleanliness. Interact with guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Perform all opening and closing duties as needed. Ensure that you (the employee) comply with Inn at Spanish Head Policies, and Health Department and OLCC Laws. Perform other duties as requested and instructed by the Banquets Manager or Supervisor. Maintain the banquet spaces to ensure they are clean, are in good repair, and have all needed supplies and equipment. Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-Groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Work and act as a team player in all the interactions with the Inn Employees.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
High school Diploma or GED. Speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location. Must have prior food service and/or banquet experience. Must have professional appearance and excellent customer service skills. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend and lift to 50 pounds. Must possess an up-to-date Food Handler's Card and O.L.C.C. Permit. (or obtaining both permits within 30 days of employment). Must maintain a tactful, courteous and cooperative attitude in dealing with managers, guests and peers. Develop and maintain collaborative and respectful working relationships with team members and others. Maintain regular and dependable attendance.
