Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Bar Back and become the essential support behind the bar experience! In this energetic role, you will assist bartenders by maintaining a clean, organized bar area, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth operations. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help create an inviting atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. Responsibilities Restock bar supplies including glassware, garnishes, beverages, and utensils to ensure bartenders have everything needed for service Maintain cleanliness of the bar area by cleaning glassware, utensils, and surfaces regularly Assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks and handling light food items when necessary Support bartenders in bussing tables and clearing empty glasses or dishes from the bar area Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of supply needs Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting staff and guests with a friendly attitude, supporting a lively atmosphere Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred Knowledge of beverage preparation, including basic mixing and garnishing skills Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of sanitation standards for bars and kitchens Ability to handle cash or POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette to assist team members effectively Basic math skills for inventory counts and cash handling tasks Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning equipment Experience in guest services, catering, or banquet settings is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team that values energy, teamwork, and exceptional guest experiences!
