Job Description
1. Reports to work as scheduled and in complete uniform. Reads daily activity sheet and banquet event orders for the day. Reads and initials the contents of the department information log. Checks in with supervisor for shift assignment, reviewing the shift log then begins performing duties. 2. Follow open, close and shift check lists. 3. Gather together all equipment required to serve the function. 4. Setting function rooms according to standard. 5. Serving food and beverage items according to instructions on event orders. 6. Follows standards of service in serving each function. 7. Clearing tables, refreshing beverages, responding to guest requests. 8. Establishing positive service relationship with individual guests served. 9. Returning serving equipment to proper storage area. 10. Maintaining service corridor and storage areas in a clean, neat and organized manner at all times. 11. Assists in moving tables and chairs as required. 12. Informs supervisor of any problems or complaints. 13. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor. 14. Maintains clean and safe work environment. 15. Clocks out at end of shift and departs properly until next scheduled shift.
