Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure smooth service throughout shifts. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, enhance their experience, and promote specialty drinks or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and craft signature cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Handle cash processing, balancing registers at shift end, and ensuring accurate financial transactions. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits. Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods while maintaining quality standards. Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty. Experience in fine dining environments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Ability to multitask effectively while managing food safety protocols and food handling procedures. Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and billing accuracy. Knowledge of beverage recipe development to create innovative drinks that delight guests. Previous restaurant or food service experience with a focus on hospitality industry standards.
