Job Summary Job Summary Join the hospitality team at Crudo Jamestown as a Bartender, providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment. Bartenders are responsible for preparing high-quality cocktails and beverages, serving bar guests, and supporting the overall flow of restaurant service. This position requires strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktails, along with excellent customer service, organization, and attention to detail. Duties Greet bar guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their experience Prepare and serve cocktails, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Maintain knowledge of the cocktail menu, wine and beer selections, spirits, food menu, and daily specials Take food and beverage orders from bar guests and accurately enter orders into the restaurant's POS system Prepare beverage orders for servers while managing bar guests and maintaining an efficient service pace Provide recommendations and answer guest questions regarding cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and menu offerings Monitor guests and practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with restaurant policies and applicable regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other supplies as needed Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other ingredients necessary for cocktail service Process guest checks and payments accurately using the POS system Communicate effectively with servers, barbacks, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth service Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, organizing, and preparing the bar for service Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service standards Qualifications Previous bartending, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and basic bartending techniques Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills Ability to prepare drinks accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Toast or similar platforms preferred Ability to remain professional and attentive while managing multiple guests and service-bar orders Strong attention to detail when preparing beverages, taking orders, and handling payments As a Bartender at Crudo Jamestown, you will play an important role in creating an energetic, welcoming, and memorable experience for guests.
