This person will anticipate the needs of our members and fulfill all their requests to the best of their ability, while delivering excellent customer service, and creating a memorable experience. Duties and responsibilities Greet our members by their name (if able) Have knowledge of all menus (dinner, lunch, cocktail, dessert, wine) Have extensive beverage knowledge of liquor, wine and beer Knowledge and correct use of Jonas POS system Accurately charge members for correct items Keeps glassware polished at all time Responsible for completing all side work associated with the bar Keeping up with personal hygiene based on club standards Detailed oriented, keeping the bar clean and free from debris Making sure product is fresh and current (fruit garnishes, syrups, etc.) Keeping liquor bottles organized and clean Keeping all areas stocked and prepared for easy access Responsible for keeping bar stools organized Able to be creative with cocktails tailored to member needs Should be able to recommend beverages based on food pairing Takes initiative with bar set up and par systems Responsible for tracking on spills on our spill sheet Responsible for accurately taking inventory of product at the bar Able to keep appropriate and professional conversation with members at the bar Physical Demands and Work Environment Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach. Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds. Continuous repetitive motions. Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
