Bar Manager Are you a passionate bar professional who loves building great teams as much as great cocktails? We are looking for a Bar Manager who leads from behind the bar — someone ready to own our beverage program, develop our people, and set the standard for what exceptional bar service looks like every shift. This position would be an active member of the bartending team in addition to the administrative tasks. Responsibilities 1. Lead by
Example:
Bartend alongside your team during scheduled shifts, modeling the craft, speed, and hospitality standards you hold everyone else to. 2.
Build and Develop Your Team:
Train, coach, and develop bartenders and servers — from new hire onboarding and recipe certification to ongoing skill-building and individual growth conversations. This is the core of the role. 3. Own the
Beverage Program:
Curate a compelling bar program — an elevated seasonal cocktail menu with a distinct aesthetic, an approachable wine and beer list, and standout non-alcoholic options. Collaborate with the management team on direction and bring new ideas consistently. 4. Run a
Tight Operation:
Manage ordering, maintain par levels for beverages and prep, conduct inventory, and keep beverage costs in check. Enforce cleanliness and service checklists that keep the bar operating at the standard we expect. 5. Serve as a Leader on the
Management Team:
Participate in leadership meetings, hold pre-shift meetings, address performance issues directly, and represent the bar team's needs and wins at the management level. Qualifications 1.
Experience:
3+ years bartending in a full-service, high-volume environment. Prior leadership or bar management experience preferred. 2.
Bar Program Knowledge:
Strong cocktail, wine, and beer knowledge with a genuine interest in staying current and building something you're proud of. 3.
Operational Skills:
Hands-on experience with ordering, inventory, and cost management. You take these responsibilities seriously. 4.
A Coach's Mindset:
You know how to train people, give real feedback, and invest in the growth of those around you — not just manage the shift in front of you. 5.
Availability and Certifications:

Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
