This employee will primarily provide attentive service while also supporting or covering bar shifts when business needs require it. The ideal candidate is punctual, honest, team-oriented, and comfortable recommending products and increasing sales through genuine hospitality—not high-pressure tactics. We value people who take ownership, maintain high standards, and do the right thing even when no one is watching. Schedule All shifts are 6pm-02:30am. Sundays Wednesdays Thursdays & Saturdays rotating off-set weeks. (One week work Thursday, the next work Saturday) Other days based on needs of the business/call-outs/etc. Primary Responsibilities Server Duties Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming experience. Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders. Learn the menu, drink selections, specials, and promotions. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, efficient service. Check identification and follow all alcohol-service regulations. Process cash and electronic payments accurately. Resolve reasonable guest concerns professionally and involve management when appropriate. Complete opening, running, and closing side work. Keep tables, service stations, and guest areas clean and organized. Help turn first-time visitors into loyal regulars. Backup Bartender Duties Support or cover the bar during busy periods, breaks, callouts, and scheduled shifts. Prepare drinks consistently according to house recipes and pour standards. Maintain accurate tabs and responsibly handle cash, comps, discounts, and voids. Verify identification and follow responsible alcohol-service procedures. Keep the bar clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service. Communicate inventory or supply concerns to management. Never provide unauthorized free drinks, overpour, or ignore house policies. Assist servers and other bartenders without losing focus on guest service. Sales and Guest Relationship Expectations Sales experience or demonstrated sales proficiency is a major plus . The right candidate should be comfortable creating value for both the guest and the business.

Making relevant food and beverage recommendations. Suggesting premium spirits, featured cocktails, appetizers, add-ons, and desserts when appropriate. Learning guest preferences and building professional relationships. Promoting specials, events, and loyalty opportunities. Increasing check averages through product knowledge and attentive service. Accepts feedback and follows house standards, recipes, and procedures. Qualifications Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to accurately handle cash and POS transactions. Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and changing business needs. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely carry trays, glassware, and supplies. Legal eligibility to serve alcohol and obtain any required local certifications. Professional appearance and conduct. Preferred Previous serving or bartending experience. Experience in hospitality, retail, membership sales, event sales, or another customer-facing sales role. Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails, and food pairings. Experience building relationships with regular customers. Experience working high-volume shifts and events. Responsible alcohol-service certification. Performance Expectations Success in this position will be evaluated based on: Attendance, punctuality, and dependability. Guest feedback and repeat-customer relationships. Accuracy of orders, payments, tabs, and bar transactions. Menu and beverage knowledge. Appropriate upselling and average guest check growth. Teamwork and willingness to support the entire operation. Cleanliness, organization, and completion of side work. Compliance with alcohol laws and house standards. Integrity when handling cash, discounts, comps, and inventory. Schedule Primarily scheduled as a server. Must be willing and qualified to cover or support bartender shifts when needed.
