Pho Claire — Myrtle Beach 2-3 Servers and Floor Manager Honey Barrel Breakfast & Grill — North Myrtle Beach Bartender Approximately 3 Servers Bartender/Server Combination Dishwasher Food Runner/Busser Host and Floor Manager Responsibilities Provide attentive and friendly service to guests as a Server, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails and spirits, demonstrating knowledge of drink recipes and presentation standards. Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Assist in food running duties by delivering orders promptly from the kitchen to tables while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items, including wine and specialty drinks, to enhance sales opportunities and guest satisfaction. Support bar operations by handling cash transactions, processing payments via OpenTable or other POS systems, and managing cash handling responsibilities responsibly. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely food preparation, proper food handling, and adherence to sanitation protocols. Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and maintaining overall restaurant sanitation to ensure a clean environment. Support managerial tasks as needed, including opening/closing procedures, inventory checks, and team coordination. Experience Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred. Experience working as a server or bartender in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally and courteously. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial for understanding food preparation and safety standards. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across different roles such as serving, bartending, or food running. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices essential for maintaining health standards in food industry settings.

Alcohol Certification Requirement:

Server and bartender and manager applicants must possess a current SCDOR Alcohol Server Certificate or be willing to obtain one Within 30 days of employment, Employees may not serve, prepare, ring in, or handle alcoholic beverages until a valid certificate has been provided to management.
