POP Hospitality Group is a unique boutique restaurant group that currently operates 4 distinctive Nashville concepts: The Row Kitchen and Pub in Midtown, NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon in SoBro, The Treehouse at Five Points, and Bravado Small Plates & PizzBar in Franklin/Cool Springs . Position Summary The Bartender crafts and serves beverages, provides engaging guest service at the bar, and maintains an organized, well-stocked, and compliant bar operation. Pay for this position is $5/hour plus tips. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe and standards. Engage guests, take orders, and offer recommendations. Verify guest age and monitor for responsible alcohol service. Promote Rewards and Loyalty programs to guests. Upsell specials, appetizers, desserts, and beverages. Process payments accurately and handle cash/card transactions. "Sell the next visit" through creative cross-promotion of day parts and offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Process payments and manage bar tabs accurately. Follow all health, safety, and liquor laws. Work Requirements [2+ years] of bartending experience preferred. Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine. Strong multitasking and cash-handling skills. Excellent guest service and communication. Valid and current TABC card required Flexible availability including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods (entire shift, 6-10 hrs). Lift and carry up to 40-50 lbs (kegs, cases, ice bins) — sometimes with assistance. Repetitive arm/hand motions (shaking, pouring, mixing). Bend, reach, and stoop to access stock and coolers. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
