Bartender / Server Overview J Woods Sports Bar is hiring an experienced and dependable Bartender/Server.

This is a combined role:

team members will prepare drinks behind the bar and provide full service to tables as assigned. We're looking for someone who provides friendly service, makes drinks accurately, stays organized, and works well during busy games and events. Applicants must be available to work weekends. Responsibilities Prepare beer, wine, cocktails, and nonalcoholic beverages Serve guests seated at the bar and assigned tables Greet tables, explain menu items, and take food and beverage orders Enter orders correctly into the POS system Deliver food and drinks and check on guests throughout their visit Check identification and follow all alcohol-service laws and policies Monitor guests and serve alcohol responsibly Process cash and credit-card payments accurately Restock beer, liquor, glassware, ice, garnishes, and other supplies Clear, clean, and reset tables Keep the bar and dining areas clean and organized Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work Communicate with the kitchen and other team members to keep service running smoothly Qualifications Previous bartending and table-service experience is preferred Knowledge of common cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service Friendly, professional, and comfortable serving both bar guests and tables Able to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts Dependable and able to arrive on time Weekend availability is required Available for weekday evening shifts as scheduled Able to stand and move throughout the shift Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol Alcohol-awareness certification is preferred or must be obtained if required What We Offer Part-time scheduling Employee discount Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity for additional shifts based on availability and business needs Apply through Indeed or visit: https://jwoodssportsbar.com/join-our-team Please include your bartending and table-service experience, along with your availability.
