Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests to recommend drinks based on their preferences and promote our beverage menu to increase sales. Operate POS systems such as Toast POS accurately to process cash and credit transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management during events like banquets or catering functions to deliver seamless service experiences. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry, preferably with fine dining or banquet experience. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for processing transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices. Previous experience in restaurant or retail environments involving cash handling, cashiering, or catering is highly desirable.
